    Hi,

I’m looking for new wiper blades for my 321 circa 2000, they do not appear to be Vetus products and I can’t find a makers name, does anyone know who the manufacture is and where I can obtain them?

I don’t know the answer but most supplier details on my 321 came in the 4″ binder supplied with the boat. If not there then I always email Veli Karja, the production manager at the yard who is very responsive –  veli.karja@nauticat.com
It looks like we are the only two 321 owners on the South Coast in the NA. Happy to swap thoughts on the boat. Contact details on the main website.

    Hi,

You may find that the wiper blades and arms are manufactured by “Anco”, a US based truck and auto parts supplier.

On my pilot house Nc39, 1994 built, I have tracked these down as:

Anco Wiper Arm – stainless steel – part number 44-01.

Anco Wiper Blade 15 inch – Stainless steel and rubber blade – 51-15.

I have not found a UK based supplier of Anco parts. Has anyone else been lucky? UK based Amazon and eBay sites do not appear to stock them and sellers on US eBay were not willing to mail outside of the US.

The suppliers I have found in the USA are Woodys Auto Supplies or Ryders. However the delivery and handling prices to the UK are the killer, doubling the price and this is before HMRC add import duty and VAT!

    Hope this helps

    I have purchased ordinary
marine wiper blades of the same lenght or slightly longer, removed the push on
fitting and drilled out the hole in the middle to accept a small stainless steel
bolt then inserted the section from the nauticat wiper arm witha small stainless
steel washer either side to take up the slack. It works very well.

Thanks for the information, we decided to replace the arms and blades with new from Force Four, however I still have the old wiper arms and will try drilling out the stainless blades that are available to use as spares.

I had had the following in from a member:

“To cut to the business; I have learned Nauticat now fit ROCA arms and blades which fit the 13mm shaft of the wiper motors. Price for a ROCA arm is EUR 41.30, and blades are EUR 11.30, both ex. Finnish VAT (24%). The ROCA items can be viewed at: http://www.rocaindustry.com/wipersystem/Product/Wiper-arm-Standard/268/Full%7C448/. I have ordered 3 of each and await delivery.”

Looks like this might work for those of us in the EU.

    Rgds

    Richard.
