    Greetings All,

Teak decking has just come adrift in a couple of places….thirty years on!
Does anyone have information as to how the original decks were fixed? Obviously there are capped screws but was some form of adhesive used?
In the assumption that “Baltic Spirit” can’t be alone with this problem is there any advice out there as to containment and repair….other than mastic and heavy weights?
Would welcome shared thoughts or experiences!
    Kind regards, Roger Plackett.

    Roger,
Baltic Cloud has the same problem. Teak was originally 10mm now probably less than 5 mm.
Worst area middle of stern cockpit about 2mm and lifting.
To contain I have filled with plastic padding which appears to be worhing but does not look good.
I don’t think the polyeurethene core will absorb water !.

    Kind regards

    Richard White
