    Hi, having purchased an older Nauticat 33 I have to say I’m delighted. Amazingly everything works except the log.
    I have search and searched but I cannot find the sender for the log. If the boat were out of the water it would be easy to find, but as it is in the water I’m stumped. I appreciate that the position may vary depending on the age of the boat, but if any of you could give a hint as to where to look harder, I would be very grateful.

    Ours is beneath the battery box on the port side of engin. The echosounder is on the opposite side.

    Hi Andrew I have an older one and the log sender is portside below the aft cushion out board side in the saloon below the hot water tank but think tank is not in original location.
