This post relays a message received from Craig Sambrook, little-foot@bigpond.com,

Hi Nauticat Association, I am the happy owner of a 1985 Nauticat 33 which I’m restoring from a weather beaten condition topsides. I’m wishing to have a curtain infill made for the aft section between the timber handrail and the gunnel from behind the house and canoe stern.

Photos online of boats having this feature show a silver or chrome like sail track which the curtain is fitted to, my enquiries so far in Sydney Australia have found only black or white plastic.

Any info would be much appreciated

    Cheers, Craig

We have cockpit dodgers on our Nauticat 44 and they are fitted to a stainless steel channel attached to the guard rail and they slide in. On the toe rail there are hooks that tention the dodgers with shot cord It all works very well It also gives protection when sitting on the Poop deck.

Hope this of some help.——-Karelia of Clyde
