Can anyone advise how I remove the cockpit steering wheel. There is a small hole in the cap which covers the central wheel bold which I thought might be an allen screw. Its not. See attached photo. I want to replace the tatty hide covering.

I just did that myself last month on the aft station wheel on my 1989 N33 for the same reason. The cap pries straight off. To remove the wheel, remove the cap, remove the large center bolt, then remove the wheel from the hub. A 2-legged gear hub puller/ removal tool made quick work of it. (A 3-legged puller was too difficult to position correctly because of the spokes on the wheel).
