How d’you get a 33′ Nauticat under Tower Bridge?

You fax the Bridgemaster 24 hrs in advance, and he raises it for you – free – at the proposed time; in this case, on Silke’s birthday in 2004, the day after we bought the boat! (The fluttering strips on the rigging read “Happy Birthday” and “I Love You”!)
