I’m not sure anyone will be able to help, but I have been contacted by a Dutch TV company asking if I knew a individual or couple who could speak German and had sailed the South and East of the U.K.
They want this person to talk about their experiences for a TV Series.
I know it’s a long shot but I said I would ask around, please let me know if you know of anyone who might be suitable.`

    Hi Brent,

We are a mixed German-Dutch couple living in the Netherlands. We have been sailing a Nauticat 39 since 2020. But I only sailed to Dover once, single-handed with my Malö 106. There is until now no more sailing experience in UK waters.

    Best regards

    Hi Michael,

I’m most dreadfully sorry but I have only just picked up your reply to my post. I normally get a email alert that someone has replied but this time it seems to have failed.
As far as I could understand the company are looking for a German speaker who could help with a documentary about sailing but particularly the East and South coast of the U.K.

My Dutch friend is Wiel Verlinden who has made a number of sailing documentaries, particularly about J Class Yachts, with your permission I will tell him about your experiences and perhaps you could talk about the project.

We have been away cruising in the South West for a month and have met several Dutch sailors in out travels, but I have checked my email Ona regularly basis.

Again I’m sorry about not seeing your post and hope you will one day sail your 39 ( beautiful boat) to some of our lovely harbours.

Best regards and wishing you good sailing.

Having been in touch with my Dutch Director friend it seems they have found a couple of possibilities to assist them, thank you for showing interest in this project.

    Enjoy this great weather.
