I am looking for replacement recommendations for the engine cooling hoses between the intercooler and antisyphon in a 331 ?
The current hose, as fitted by Nauticat is a very flexible wire reinforced product which has a good bend radii.
Looking on line I can find similar hoses available in Germany, but with posssible import duty it becomes expensive. The UK offerings seem to have bend radii of 300mm plus, ie not very flexible. Vetus have a hose but charge £££ for it.

How about this hose from ASAP supplies. You’ll need to chose the right ID, but it is fireproof for use on an engine and has the spiral wire to prevent collapsing.
Best wishes Piers

Thank you for your replies.
The original hose was made by IVG, looking at the spec of their nearest current hose the bend radii is 130mm. The ASAP hose bending radii is I believe 320mm, I know it is pretty inflexible as I fought to install some between the water intake and the pump, however, it is rated to 125degC.
The best hose I can find is Vetus with a bend radii of 48mm, it wire wound and rated up 100degC. I see that Lancing deal in Vetus parts so will call them, thanks for the suggestion.
The only reason to change this hose is a persistant weep from the heat exchanger spigot and both ends rusting at both ends of the hose.

Both these hoses route aft of the port battery box, then are snug under the large exhaust hose and cannot be seen or accessed. Somewhere out of sight they then turn vertical and pass through drilled holes in the port locker floor up to the anti-syphon. The hoses are a snug tight fit in the holes. If I remove the hose to replace it I cannot see a way to feed new hoses back in either starting from the locker end or the engine side !! I can only imagine that Siltala fitted these hose and the exhaust hoses before the battery box was in place.
Is it time to give the job to a professional to work it out ??
