Hi! We had a CQR on the Westerly we lived aboard, and it dragged repeatedly. We bought a Rocna and never dragged again – even with less than 3:1, in heavy weather.
Recently got a N38 with long sprit and bobstay, on which we are about to live aboard, at anchor, and had decided that a Rocna would not fit, so have bought a 20kg genuine Lewmar, which fits nicely.
But will we sleep soundly!?
What difference have you seen between your Delta and Rocna in terms of performance?
Unsure if the bowsprit on the N38 we have is a standard option or unique to our boat – perhaps I should borrow a Rocna and see how it fits.
