From Veli at Nauticat several years ago:

“A. The varnish inside the boat we have used and still use today is International Gold Spar Satin.
Underneath we use Hempel’s Favourite, 4 layers.

The main thing is that the old surfaces are well sanded and all damaged varnish is removed prior to new varnish.

B. Outside we have used today Epifanes varnishes. First some 4 layers of Epifanes Clear Varnish (first layers well thinned) and on top of that one layer of Epifanes Wood Finish Matte.”

Sorry for the delayed response but it has taken me this long to find where I put this bit of information.
