Hi,
Congratulations on your 331 purchase.
Have your rigger run a new line between the masts, the triatic stay, as later repacement necessitates climbing the mast. Whilst you have the masts down get all the mast top aerials, pulleys, lamps etc checked.
Lifting strops , make sure that the aft strop is right up against the rear of the keel, and not on the prop shaft ! Make sure any speed sensor paddle wheels are withdrawn away from the front strop.
I find that the 331 with fixed prop does not easily moor port side to due to prop walk astern when trying to reduce speed.
Have you met Alan Worrell, he is the Nauticat Technical guru, and has now got a motorboat at Noss.
Regards,
Alasdair
Good luck and enjoy.
